How to know it's really made in Italy

"Italian style" and "Italian inspired" usually mean it wasn't made there. Look for a named region, like Tuscany for leather or Como for silk, and for full grain on the tag. Buying from the maker directly helps too.

Every ALVEA piece is made in small batches by family run factories in Italy, leather in Tuscany and silk in Como.
